This Mother-Daughter Duo is sure to impress! They believe in the renewed beauty of taking old, unloved things and making them beautiful again! Specializing in chalk painted furniture, vintage finds and upcyled items. They love to take conventional things and give them a new twist! Leaving you with the thought “how come I didn’t think of that!”

They are also the owners/operators of Porch Swing Pickings. Like the parable of the Mustard Seed, they believe in strength and prosperity of the “little” things. They hope that through this “little” store they can inspire others to find their inner strength and potential-after all, with a little faith and hard work anything is possible.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Whisper Reclaimed Logo 2

Hi my name is Sherri, I’m married to a wonderful man who has helped me raise 3 great kids! I’m a DIY girl, I love giving “new life” to a worn out vintage piece of furniture. I can get “lost” in time browsing through antique stores. After several years of painting for family and friends, repurposing dated furniture, making things from reclaimed wood, I’ve decided to turn my passion into a business.
I came up with the name Whisper Reclaimed Wood & more because I love working with old wood that’s been reclaimed from an old barn, house, etc.. as well as restoring worn out vintage furniture. Before I start working on an antique or vintage piece I inspect every nook and cranny looking for any stamps, dates, or manufacture markings. These markings help me identify the history and the era of the piece. Whether it’s an antique dresser, vintage buffet or reclaimed wood, they all have a past, “If only this wood could talk, the stories it could tell.” I’m looking forward to this new venture and being a vendor in Porch Swing Pickings!
